My journey in Medicine: Challenges,
Changes and Rediscovery.
My path in medicine began in 2004, sparked by fascination with the human body and mind, and a heartfelt commitment to helping patients and their families.
After graduating from the Federal University of Paraná in 2010, I pursued intensive care medicine and healthcare management training. Working in both Brazil's public health system (SUS) and private sector I faced challenges that taught me invaluable lessons and strengthened my dedication to medicine.
In 2016, seeking new perspectives, I moved to Brussels where I completed my training and PhD at Erasme Hospital. These eight years offered tremendous personal and academic growth and exposed me to the corporate world of business and management.
Yet something was missing.
The longing grew stronger each day—that desire to welcome patients, to ease suffering, to establish that irreplaceable human connection. It wasn't just nostalgia; it was a calling that refused to be silenced.
Following this intuition, I relocated to France in 2024. Here, I've rediscovered my essential purpose: to provide compassionate, excellent medical care and to share my knowledge with others. Teaching has always been a passion of mine—guiding future healthcare professionals and helping patients understand their health empowers everyone involved in the healing process.
The creation of this website is more than a professional milestone; it's a symbol of renewal and empowerment. It's a space to share my experience and create meaningful dialogue about health and wellbeing.
Consider this your invitation to explore freely—browse the blog, reach out, and join me in authentic connection. Together, we can appreciate the transformative power of medicine and genuine care.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With love,
Danielle
